Looking different, but are comments working?

Hi All

You can see I've adjusted the look of the blog. I've deleted the code I borrowed for the previous look as I think it was the cause of the problem with the comments function.

Please can folk tell me if commenting is now easier?

Thanks!

Xx

PS Here's a random image to keep you occupied!

  3. Glad you changed things as I've often had a thing to comment on and haven't been able.

Thanks for providing such lovelies to feel inspired by.

  8. So this is a functional, yet temporary look?

  9. @phiq - it's certainly functional by the sounds of things. Not sure about temporary. Blogger seems to have moved on a bit of late and there's a shed-load of options now about layout and design. I think it'll just get tweaked as time goes on. I've just added a new header, but it seems horribly pixelated so not sure what's going on there. Treat it as a work in progress! Comments welcome. I think the dark text on a light back is easier to read, no?

  10. Just happy that we are able to comment, it has been very frustrating not being able to do that when you post cool stuff that appear in my news feed. As to how it looks, they grey areas area a little dull but nothing that cannot be easily improved.

  11. Not getting the pixelated look on my end...? And yeah, the dark text is much better (before I could blink after reading you posts and see ghost text!). Have you played around with the greys much? I like the main background, lovely, warm and dark.

  12. Good to have you on board Anatoli!

@phiq - I know what you mean about the ghost-text, but that is quite an endearing thing, no? That my words stay with you, on the inside of your eyelids, even when you shut them off and turn away. The background is a shot I took of an old cabinet in the collection of a friend. He has a wonderful 'mansion flat' full of beautiful artifacts. There is so much material from that shoot that I still use to this day.

    Bam! Bam!
