For Crying Out Loud

Long-time readers may recall that I had a bit-part in some filming that the British comedienne Jo Brand did for the BBC (original post here). The programme, called For Crying Out Loud, was broadcast a couple of days ago and readers in the UK can view it at the BBC website here. We are about 47 minutes in. It's hilarious.

  2. I'd be rubbish at one of those crying events. Pretty much incapable of crying. Probably far too emotionally screwed-up. I can do the tears thing though but only with my right eye due to all the knackered muscles in that side of my face. Chomping on a quarter pounder burger will usually do it. But crying? Nope. I can measure the time since the last time in decades...

  4. The location looks phenomenal... but it must have been really hard not to laugh, even with the onions. There's just something about Jo Brand (and that Jo brand/ Arthur Smith sort of dead pan humour) that makes me smile whenever I see them on the telly ... seriously funny, clever woman. I'd have been laughing hopelessly. Must have been a great evening.
